Reno/Lake Tahoe

Perennially spectacular with joyful activities, Lake Tahoe and its amiable neighbor Reno are a destination combo, where associations and corporations can jump into the natural abundance of the region in numbers of a dozen or a few thousand. It is easy to base a sizable convention in the ample confines of Reno's convention center and casino hotels. And for meetings or incentives with smaller numbers, luxury resorts of varying size and style flank both the north and south shores of the famous lake, along with the nearby high mountain valleys. The 118,000-sf Reno Event Center officially opened last December as part of a two-phase project to develop a special events and convention and meeting venue in the heart of downtown Reno; this is a public-private partnership among the City of Reno, the Reno-Sparks CVA, and the downtown Reno hotel casino stakeholders.
