Zusammenfassung:The enhanced strength and durability of bridges that incorporate high-performance concrete (HPC) in beams, decks and piers promise to reduce the lifetime cost and deterioration of these structures. To encourage further research and to promote the use of HPC, the Federal Highway Administration is showcasing HPC in regional events and demonstration projects in the eight states that have become active partners with FHWA by constructing or preparing to construct bridges with HPC.
