Zusammenfassung: | Around the world, growing municipal and industrial needs for high-level treatment and small-footprint solutions have spurred more interest in membrane bioreactor (MBR) technology. MBRs were initially developed so industrial and commercial organizations could generate high-quality water for reuse in gray-water applications. Now, municipalities have begun exploring whether MBRs can help them meet stricter effluent limits, especially when they have limited space or are considering water reuse. Here, Wallis-Lage et al present some MBR manufacturers and their design of an MBR facility. |
