Le problème des limites européennes : des critères concrets et mesurables pour une proposition de solution

For a long time, all the Community treaties underline the right of any European country to require adhesion of the European Union. The problem is that nowhere is it specified what one implies by "European country". What Europe? Which are its limits? How to define its identity? Does it act of a precise geographical space or a concrete model of civilization? Is a historical reality well defined or a simple abstract entity? These questions are discussed.
