Zusammenfassung: | One of the most important components of the export transaction is access to working capital, providing a means for companies to process and acquire goods and services to fill purchase orders and to ship and extend credit to their buyers. Yet, the availability of adequate export finance resources is often the most difficult barrier for small- and medium-sized businesses to overcome. The Trade Information Center (TIC) can help companies gain a better understanding of trade finance, making it possible for them to compete in the global marketplace. The TIC informs businesses about export financing programs offered by US government agencies. |
