Guidelines for the security of rare book, manuscript, and other special collections

The Association of College & Research Libraries' Rare Books and Manuscripts Section's Security Committee's "Guidelines for the Security of Rare Book, Manuscript, and Other Special Collections" is presented. These guidelines identify important topics that collection administrators should address in developing adequate collection security.
