Zusammenfassung: | Daily technical problems for printers are the stock-in-trade of training programs offered by the Printing Industries of America/Graphic Arts Technical Foundation (PIA/GATF) -- programs that are open to members and non-members. Compressed schedules and limits on headcounts make finding training time a challenge. That is why PIA/GATF keeps programs brief and flexible. Webinars, each around 90 minutes long, are scheduled 16 times this year. Another solution: Use curricula prepared for in-house programs. Prepackaged press-crew training can be built around PIA/GATF's Web Offset Press Training Curriculum. This year PIA/GATF offers 40+ multi-day classes at its suburban Pittsburgh center. |
