Updated technology improves events, enhances service

Client expectations are rising, particularly meeting planners' needs for technologies supporting events in function spaces. Some hotels have stepped ahead by advancing technology offerings. Flat-panel displays, music styling, digital displays, way-finding systems, and Wi-Fi have raised the bar of guest expectations. Meeting planners' expectations of event technologies in typical full-service properties are fairly straightforward and the needs for A/V and event technologies can be summarized by identifying five key attributes: 1. reliability, 2. ease of use, 3. high performance, 4. flexibility, and 5. cost-effectiveness.
