City 'needs HR focus'

The richest man in the City has hired an HR chief for his growing company and called for his industry to place an increased focus on people. Peter Cruddas, chairman and chief executive of trading firm CMC Markets, has appointed Anne Stevens as global head of HR. A strong HR team can add a lot of value to this sector and to our business in particular, Cruddas said. We are constantly competing for the brightest and best people in the industry and by creating a unique workplace we can differentiate ourselves in the market.
