From Sensors to Shooters

For air defenders, it's a metaphoric aide in understanding the relationship between the concept of Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense (AIAMD) and the materiel tools of the Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS). AIAMD is a command-and-control system that will enable an integrated air and missile defense system of systems. Operationally, integration is a scheme of maneuver that entails vertical and horizontal synchronization of air and missile defense systems across the width and depth of the battlefield.
