It requires colorless coatings which, until now, have not been recognized as sufficiently equipped to protect wood from the elements because they failed prematurely to fulfill their function) However, the latest research in this field shows that the correct combination of light stabilizers makes it possible to produce transparent, colorless clearcoats with extraordinary brilliance and very good long-term UV protection.
