Zusammenfassung:	RectorSeal: A couple years ago when the price of copper went through the roof, there were a lot of plumbers that got away from using copper and went to cross-linked polyethylene. You don't need flux for that and you don't need soft cements because it's joined by the use of a crimp ring. The use of PEX and push-fit fittings have eaten away at sales of fluxes and solder and copper pipe.
