Burning Smarter Water Heaters Change With the Times

[Rheem]: It's a different burner technology to be able to get us there. The flame on this isn't your typical flame. It's a radiant burner design. It looks very much like the burner you would see on a gas range of a stove. This design is radiant in the sense that it's a very small flame and it's a very tight pattern to the burner. So it's going to glow red. The rest of the water heater industry, we pretty much know they're going to use some form of radiant burner.
