Zusammenfassung:Seely et al illustrate the effectiveness of using the Weisberg t-test as a powerful outlier test in small data sets. In biopharmaceutical researches, the need to evaluate whether a data point is an outlier, or a data that is inconsistent with the rest of a small set of data, is critical in validating process consistency. The Weisberg t-test has a low beta error rate in detecting deviations from the mean, suitable for objectively demonstrating consistency of production data.
