Both toxoplasmosis and toxocariasis may produce moderate to severe vitreous and anterior chamber inflammation, however, so it is essential that all children with what appears to be "intermediate" or "diffuse" uveitis have an examination of the entire retina, including the far periphery, before uveitis is labeled as "idiopathic." |
