Vaccine process development is complex, and so are the documents required before clinical trials begin. Hagen et al discuss the need to minimize the preparation time required for the chemistry, manufacturing and controls section of an Investigational New Drug Application by integrating writing and document preparation, and coordinating experienced technical writers and editors with other development activities.
