Zusammenfassung:A new conceptual model of success integrates two empirical studies that were conducted exclusive of each other. Both examined the lives of two separate groups of adults with learning disabilities (LD) and found internal, linking, and external factors that impacted the success of the participants. Career development professionals will find the model important as a new perspective for individual client planning as well as program development. Directions for future research and practice are discussed.
