But now the market is ripe for a fall. Since October 9, when the US Department of Agriculture released its first forecast of the season that began October 1 for Florida oranges, which are used in US juice, prices for the nectar have skyrocketed 21%, to $1.3385 a pound on the idea that there might not be enough oranges to go around. |
