NULLA HISTORIA SINE FONTIBUS: DAS ORGELDOKUMENTATIONSZENTRUM DER HOCHSCHULE LUZERNMUSIK

The paper provides an over view of the histor y of activities as they relate to organ documentation and research in Switzerland. Within this study, the Orgeldokumentationszentrum (ODZ), its foundation and holdings as well as its multifold activities will be presented. The ODZ was founded in 2006 at the Department of Music of Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts and is the only Competence Center in Switzerland that systematically documents and investigates the history of organ building and organ music in Switzerland.
