All Bets On: A Cooperative Review Game

Years ago, one of my eighth grade students adamantly refused to take part in a review game. Because I had loved competitive games as a student, I could not fathom why she would not want to play. [...]because all students are involved in answering every question, the focus is on teaching and learning, not classroom management issues. it's Win-Win After I began using this game in my eighth grade classroom, I asked the girl who had refused to play the prior review games if this was a better game.
