Zusammenfassung: | A question and answer advisory on how to use investigation data after incident investigation to prevent similar incidents from occurring again is presented. Among other things, Page-Bottorff says by their very nature, incident investigations are reactionary. But properly collecting and studying investigation data, and then clearly communicating the findings, will provide the best opportunity to prevent similar incidents in the future. An impartial assessment of one's safety data will guide him in determining which type of solution will provide the biggest benefit. |
