Amasya Ilinin Alternatif Turizm Potansiyelinin Degerlendirilmesi

Alternative tourism, not on the beach of tourism activities in the regions and cities with natural and cultural resources is of great importance in terms of diversification. In this context, alternative tourism economy in general agriculture, animal husbandry and industry based in Amasya province has become an important source of income. The aim of the study is to evaluate the alternative tourism potential of Amasya province; rich in natural and cultural resources. In this context, qualitative research method is used within the scope of the literature assessment with secondary data sources. As result; it is identified that the region; having rich natural and cultural structures as a host of historical civilizations over the centuries has potential for almost every kind of alternative tourism types, both in summer and winter.
