Zusammenfassung:We think you'll appreciate the analysis offered in this year's version of EBN's annual Benefits Barometer, a long-standing tradition we've tweaked a bit this year to give you some comprehensive notes on the good and the bad of trends in the benefits business in 2014 - so you can begin to make some serious plans for next year, maybe in the midst of one of many post-turkey dinner moments of reflection we hope you'll have in the coming weeks. Wellness is also being given a critical examination for 2015, as a recent spree of EEOC lawsuits has provided some objective evidence that not every employee necessarily benefits from a system based on rewards and punishments for what is still largely a self-motivated path to health care improvement. It's part of the ongoing debate about wellness as a general direction for health care; we suspect you'll see more cases that continue to require some careful and more inclusive thinking in every employer's wellness strategy.
