IBD more severe in B.C.'s South Asian kids
They identified 149 incident cases, between 1997 and 2on, of IBD in South Asian children, of whom 48% were diagnosed with Crohn's disease, 36% with ulcerative colitis and 16% with IBD-unclassified-compared with 65%, 21% and 15%, respectively, for the 289 controls.
