Building Export Momentum/Encourager l'exportation

While better performance is expected in 2014 -- largely due to a strengthening US economy -- diversifying their export markets to build export momentum will be key. Indeed, a new report published by CGA-Canada concludes that small and medium enterprises (SME) in particular could be taking greater advantage of the opportunities in faster growing emerging economies. Entitled Canada's Global Trade Agenda: Opportunities for SMEs, it argues that while securing international trade deals will boost businesses' prospects, challenges to export diversification must also be addressed through domestic policy changes and enhanced resources.
