Zusammenfassung: | The principal components of the imaging system are a pairof Allied Vision Technologies GmbH (Stadtroda, Germany) Manta G-201 2-megapixel optical machine vision cameras, four strobe illuminators, a Teledyne BlueView (Bothell, Washington) P2250-900 acoustical camera, and the power/ communications architecture to integrate them and communicate with shore via a fiber-optic link. To assess the system performance quantitatively, stereotriangulation was used to measure the length of a 10-centimeter calibration square mounted to the target frame in 30 image pairs for each of the cases tested.\n Mechanical wipers were actuated once per hour over the course of the deployment, with a few outages on the order of days during troubleshooting of power and communication systems. |
