The Re-validation of the Federal Pretrial Services Risk Assessment (PTRA)

Because we do recognize that there is more than one dimension to an assessment in the criminal justice system, future analysis will focus on predicting the dangerousness of a defendant by trying to predict the severity and type of NCA. Data analyzed in this study focused on static factors associated with changes in NCA/ FTA/Revocation rates.
