Zusammenfassung: | The author argues that a campaign has been initiated in Hungary against philosophers such as Agnes Heller, Mihaly Vajda, Sandor Radnoti and others. He also cites a recently passed media law that is not compatible with European norms. He argues that this is part of a series of measures from the last half year that add up to a dismantling of democratic institutions in Hungary. He contends that a number of alterations made to the Hungarian constitution by the Young Democrats (Fidesz) party have left the principle of separation of powers in the nation plainly at risk.
