Zusammenfassung:Preliminary results of a theoretical model which simulates the behaviour of hydrogen oxidation by a MnO 2/Ag 2O (10 wt.%) metal oxide mixture at both ambient temperature and pressure are presented. Based on experimental results obtained at a range of intermediate and low initial hydrogen concentrations, this model allows one to perform calculations which aims at simulating the behaviour of this specific metal oxide mixture under real tritium degassing conditions.
