Zusammenfassung:The genus Pseudoliogenys Moser is reviewed and placed in the tribe Diplotaxini based on morphological characters. Liogenys bidentula Fairmaire is transferred to the genus Pseudoliogenys, with Pseudoliogenys flavida Moser as a junior synonym (new synonymy). Lectotypes are designated for both names. The gender of the genus Pseudoliogenys is clarified as feminine for the purposes of nomenclature.
