The law of the dependence of the period of non-linear oscillations on a single parameter

Single-frequency oscillations of a non-linear autonomous system are considered. It is shown that the oscillation period usually depends on only a single parameter, both in the case of a reversible mechanical system, which allows of first integrals, and in the case of a system of general form.
