Contributions of the Community Stakeholder Park Audit Tool

Community parks have been consistently associated with increased physical activity among adults and children. Development of several high-quality tools in the past decade has enhanced the ability of researchers to document the capacity of parks to facilitate physical activity. A challenge for the future will be how to adapt the best qualities to identify a set of measures that can be applied across diverse socioeconomic environments and across different types of park settings.
