Zusammenfassung:	PCNs are composed of a wide range of lesions from benign cysts to malignancies . Although a cross-sectional imaging provides a sensitive screening test, EUS with FNA and cyst fluid analysis greatly increase the diagnostic certainty. Cyst fluid CEA offers the greatest accuracy in the differentiation between mucinous and nonmucinous PCNs. In the future, endoscopic ablation therapy might offer an alternative to the traditional surgical approach.
