Zusammenfassung: | Systematic improvements in the composition and method of application of lubricant-coolant process media (LCPM) represent an important trend in the progress being made in the metallurgical industry. Optimizing the composition and method of delivery of LCPM makes it possible to obtain good results with respect to machineability, product quality, and production cost. Systems based on artificial intelligence were used to devise a method of metal-shaping in which an LCPM is spontaneously discharged and exerts a counterpressure in channels that form the regular microrelief of the working surface of the tool. This article describes one unit which is used to realize the above-referenced method. |
