Zusammenfassung:The effect of hydrogen additive to titanium alloys on the parameters of the microstructure and the cutability (the temperature and cutting force in the cut zone, the stability of the tool) is studied. Correlation-regression analysis is used to evaluate the role of the structure in the cutability of titanium alloys after various kinds of heat and heat-hydrogen treatment. Data illustrating the efficiency of improvement of the cutability of titanium alloys by their reversible alloying with hydrogen are presented.
