Zusammenfassung: | Cooling conditions of continuously cast preforms typical for the zone of secondary cooling of continuous casting machines are considered. A method for experimental determination of the heat-transfer factor for water and water-air methods of sprayer cooling of a continuously cast preform is suggested. The dependence of the heat-transfer factor on the flow rate of the cooling mixture is determined. The results obtained are compared with published data of other researchers. |
