Zusammenfassung:This paper describes an integral closure approach for the 2-D analysis of electromagnetically driven flow in inductively coupled molten metal using the finite element method. This methodology, which restricts the solution domain to the conducting regions(s), was demonstrated for flows generated by complex electromagnetic fields, and computed results were found to be in good agreement with measurements.
