Zusammenfassung:At the UK's largest nuclear complex, Sellafield, in north-west England, decommissioning of the oldest buildings is complicated by the fact that the original 60-year-old facilities were not designed with any regard to future decommissioning. The site is very crowded with little room to build next to the legacy buildings. Furthermore, insufficient treatment and storage facilities are available for existing wastes.
