Zusammenfassung: | Carotid‐cavernous aneurysm accounts for 2–9% of all intracranial aneurysms. The rupture of carotid‐cavernous aneurysm is usually caused by a trauma. Nevertheless, spontaneous rupture may rarely be encountered.
