Zusammenfassung: | The chemical nature, structure (porosity), form (block, powder, mat), and type of sorbed surface affect the sorption capacity of a material. The sorption capacity of a material increases with a decrease in the apparent density. Materials with a lower density can be regenerated more easily. In selecting material for extraction of dissolved and emulsified petroleum products from aqueous media, it is necessary to study its sorption capacity with respect to these petroleum products.[PUBLICATION ABSTRACT] |
