Smoother and more economic operation of gas pipelines

Natural gas transmission lines transport large quantities of natural gas across long distances. The analysis of these pipelines is very complex and the day-to-day operations leave little time for optimization. This paper details techniques that can be used to optimize gas pipelines online.
