The present study was undertaken to study effect of ethanol extract of Tectona grandis (TG) in treatment of diabetes mellitus and associated cardiovascular complications in alloxan induced diabetic rats. Diabetes was induced by single intraperitoneal administration of prestandardised dose of alloxan and TG was given orally at 50, 100 and 200 mg/kg.
