Reduction of Cr(VI) in the Presence of Excess Soil Fulvic Acid
The rate of hexavalent chromium reduction by a soil fulvic acid was measured in aqueous solutions where concentrations of Cr(VI), hydrogen and soil fulvic acid were independently varied. Evidence shows that the rates of reduction increase strongly with decreasing pH.
