Zusammenfassung:Fattening up: Artificially constructed lipid–protein conjugates can be used to control protein activity and localization at either biological or artificial membrane interfaces. Here, we report a facile technique for the lipid modification of proteins catalyzed by microbial transglutaminase (MTG). MTG‐mediated protein lipidation proceeded efficiently without perturbing protein functionality (see figure).
