Zusammenfassung:The paper presents the study of the equilibrium conditions during the nickel removal from aqueous solutions using natural zeolite in batch process. The purpose of this investigation was the application of a adequate, inexpensive and economically effective adsorbent available in large quantities for treatment of underground, superficial and waste waters. Experimental investigations were made in a glass container by stirring with magnetic mixer on 500 rpm with 100 mL of water, adsorbent.content of 5 to 40 g.L^-1, adsorbent granules size 〈 0.4 mm, and mixing time of 360 minutes. The nickel content in the aqueous solution was changed within the 0.05 to 0.40 mgNi.L^-1. Examining the experiments data helped to define the influence of the nickel concentration equilibrium, the adsorbent capacity, on one side, and the equilibrium degree of nickel removal depending on the initial nickel concentration in the water, as well the adsorbent content in the treated solution.
