Zusammenfassung:The use of briquets made from metallurgical sludges to close the tapholes of steelmaking furnaces reduces the need for sinter without affecting the heat time. The deoxidation of steel in the ladle with the use of silicon carbide makes it possible to improve the quality of the semifinished products and decrease the rate of their rejection for defects.
