Zusammenfassung: | Abstract An unusual type of food poisoning, mad honey poisoning, is a well-known phenomenon in the Black Sea region of Turkey. Mad honey poisoning can result in severe cardiac complications including sinus bradycardia, nodal rhythm, various degrees of atrioventricular blocks, and even asystole. However, no cases of long QT interval have been reported so far. This paper reports the first case of extremely long QT interval to be associated with mad honey consumption. |
