Zoobenthos of the drainage zone of Novosibirsk Reservoir

Zoobenthos of the basic biotopes in the drainage zone of Novosibirsk Reservoir has been studied for the first time. Its composition and quantitative characteristics on the dried areas are determined depending on the ground composition, duration of drainage, distance from the zone of permanent submergence, and location under the minimal level of the water body. It is shown that zoobenthos primarily dies during the filling of the reservoir.
