Zusammenfassung:An organic photochromic material and an organic semiconducting material are combined to produce a “master–slave‐type” core/sheath nanocable material in which by switching the photochromic master sheath, the electrical conductance and fluorescence of the semiconducting slave core material can be reversibly tuned. With such nanocables, non‐volatile memory devices with both optical and electrical readouts are demonstrated.
