Durability of resistance to stripe rust in the wheat cultivar 'Claire' in New Zealand

Discusses the methodology and results of a study that aimed to indentify the cause of the 'breakdown' of resistance in wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) cultivar 'Claire' to stripe rust (caused by Puccinia striiformis f. sp. tritici), to clarify the seedling (race-specific) resistance genes present, and to identify any remaining 'background' resistance that may be durable.
